Realistic (HD) Wheel Assemblies – Spare Parts / Retrofit Kit (Coming Soon)

The Realistic (HD) Wheel Assemblies Spare Parts Kit is designed for visual upgrades and retrofitting existing TKM train systems with a more detailed, realistic appearance.

This kit uses the same Realistic (HD) wheel assembly design found in the full HD train systems, offering increased visual accuracy while maintaining the same proven rolling performance as the Classic assemblies.
HD wheel assemblies are a visual upgrade only and do not affect train speed or performance.

This kit is ideal for customers who already own a train system and wish to upgrade the appearance of an existing build without purchasing an entirely new train system.

Not intended as a cheaper alternative to purchasing a full HD train system.
For best value, HD wheel assemblies should be selected at the time of purchasing a full train system, where they replace the Classic assemblies rather than being supplied in addition.

What’s Included

Each kit includes all required printed parts and hardware for the specified number of cars:

• Realistic (HD) wheel assemblies

• All required screws and hardware (Bearings Not Included)

• Axle bars

• Wheel spacers for both 4 mm and 5 mm wide bearings

• Brake Bars + Holders (1x with 4 pairs / 2x with 8 pairs)

Bearings are not included.

Bearing Requirements (HD Assemblies)

The Realistic (HD) wheel assemblies require:

• 4× 11 mm bearings (bottom and side wheels)

• 2× 13 mm bearings (top running wheels)

Both 4 mm and 5 mm width bearing options are supported using the included spacers.

Important Notes

• This kit supplies HD wheel assemblies

• Customers upgrading later will own both Classic and HD wheel systems

• For new builds, a full HD train system offers the most cost-effective option by replacing the classic assemblies with HD
