Important Store Update: V3.1 Train System, Premium Quality Changes and Retiring Older Designs
The shop is currently entering a quieter reset period while I focus on my new full-time job, move house, and shift my focus back towards creating videos and roller coaster projects.
Current stock is being cleared out while available. Once sold out, many older top designs and desktop models will not return.
Going forward, the physical shop will become smaller, more focused, and more premium. Future train systems will move towards V3.1, using higher-quality parts and upgraded SLS nylon wheel assemblies.
V3.1 will remain fully compatible with V3, but may look slightly different due to the new materials and higher-quality manufacturing methods.
Memberships will continue to provide the FDM printable version for home printing.
Future physical train products will mainly be sold as complete 3–7 car bundles, rather than single cars or small 1–2 car orders.
This helps make the shop more sustainable, while also reducing small colour shade differences between batches of materials. Even when using the same colour, filament, resin, and SLS nylon can sometimes vary slightly between batches.
For the best colour match, I recommend buying train systems and matching top designs together. Moving to 3–7 car bundles should help each train set have a more consistent finish.
