Bearings Information

These custom k'nex trains are the best in the business, but no matter how good, how detailed or how overly engineered they are what bearings you use for the wheels will still be the biggest limiting factor when it comes to the speed of your trains.

What type of bearings do you use?

I use high quality hybrid ceramic bearings on my trains, the same ones that ship when you select the "bearings included" option on any train system of wheel assembly bundle.

Why do you have kits without bearings?

The reason for including a "customer supplied" option is because some customers may already have these bearings from past projects or from past versions of my train systems and can re-use them.

What size bearings do the trains use?

What sizes should I use..... For the full size trains you need 5x11x4 or 5x11x5 (5mm center, 11mm outer, 4/5mm width)

For micro trains you need 3x8x4 (3mm center, 8mm outer, 4mm width)

Where can I find the same ones you use?

If you would like to buy bearings yourself that you know are the same ones I use, then head over to my YouTube video descriptions where I have a link to the aliexpress page.
